Course Interaction

Content for this course takes an interactive approach, which will require a user to complete certain tasks before moving on to the next part of the course. Some of these tasks might be clicking a button, watching a video, or answering a question. Please review the following information to understand how this course will interact.

Course materials are locked/restricted. This means you cannot click ahead through the slides or jump ahead. Slides are locked by interactivity and to unlock a slide you will need to do one or all of the following depending on the type of slide:

  • Interact with a button(s)
  • Watch a video
  • Complete a self-knowledge check

Once you have completed a slide you will be allowed to click the "Next" button and move on to the next slide.

Slides on the course may have various buttons. Clicking on these buttons will make other information appear, whether it is pictures, written text, or video, or allow you to navigate. The color of the button will change once you have interacted with it.

To hide the information you made appear with the button now disappear you must click that information again or another button on the side. If you are having difficulty finding where to click to hide information just move your mouse around the slide until you see the mouse change from an arrow to a hand.

Self Knowledge Checks

Self Knowledge Checks are non-graded assessments that appear throughout a course. These are short quiz type questions to help re-affirm the information just presented in the course. Question types include:

  • Multiple Choice
  • True/False
  • Ordering
  • Drag & Drop
  • Check All

Depending on the question type there may be multiple attempts and you will not be able to move on in the course until you get it correct.
